Project Overview - West Dike
The West Dike extends 70 km (44 miles) from the floodway's inlet control structure south of Winnipeg. The current dyke runs in a generally south westerly direction to tie into high ground at the west side of the Red River Valley. The west dike will be raised and extended to better protect local residents.
